The last few days (actually, maybe the last week???) has been quite cloudy, with an ever impending chance of rain at any moment. Because of this, our beach time has been cut short (hopefully we get a bit more sun yet, however, as our tans are, well...weak).
This cloudy but warm weather has given us the option of doing a few things better done with little to no sun - cooking, and rock climbing.
Cooking was a lot of fun. There were three of us - Lindsay and me, and one other girl, who is actually from Victoria! We learned how to make curry paste, a curry dish, spring rolls, stir fry, salad, dessert, and soup. Lindsay and I each chose different dishes to make, however, so we could cover as much ground as possible. There is rumor of Lindsay and I hosting a Thai night when we get back...
Today we went rock climbing for the morning - that was more than enough time! Our arms were very tired, Lindsay puked (yet still did two more climbs after), and Mike climbed a few very high cliffs. We tried uploading some photos and video, but our camera died while uploading photos - hopefully tomorrow...
We will be doing another island tour by speed boat tomorrow, so wish me luck!
Was the puking due to fear of heights or the general exertion?!?! Sounds like you're putting heart and soul into it either way so good job! I'm quite put out that I will be missing the Thai night as it's sure to be splendid...Hope you get some more tanning time in, I know how much work it takes! Miss you and love you both, stay safe and have fun!
