So, we made it - it was a longish trip, but sleeping on the train was dandy!
It is gorgeous here, but it's almost too hot! We will have some photos on our next post, but we don't have much time left on our internet (it is expensive here!)
We are actually staying at Patong Beach, which is apparently THE tourist area to go to...certainly seems like it! It is very busy, and everything is more expensive here than what we have seen yet. The beach is beautiful, and the water is nice. We are going to try to go swimming this afternoon and see some sun.
We're trying to avoid going to the doctor about Mike's stomach as we don't want to spend our holiday there, so we have emailed good 'ol uncle Gary - MD - to see if he can help troubleshoot. Mom, Dad, can you check in with him if we don't hear back soon???
Love you all, and we'll post pictures soon.
PS - our room here is sweet! Much better than the gross closet we stayed in for the first 3 nights.
PPS - Lizann, it is about 32Baht to $1 CAD.

so about 3 dollars for every hundred baht, if i've done my math correctly...hmmm, not bad. Mike: are you puking?(or the other??) just tummy cramps? when did it start? does anything help it? anything make it worse? are you hydrated? let's see if we can get this better....

Its far better to go now and fix your issue quickly, than to go when its worse and have it wreck a lot of your holiday.
Besides, it may not be the pills you are taking. It may be another issue.
Hey guys, looks like a great trip! Mike.....Canucks still suck, lost 3 in a row, going to play avalanche tonight....most likley will get smashed. Luongo is back, still a sieve! It's great being a canuck fan!
